Youth Mental Health
On the 7th of September, Youth Mental Health Day is taking place with the aim to encourage discussion and understanding of mental health in young people.
Particularly as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, this day will invite young people across the country to reflect and move forward, with a focus on working towards and maintaining positive mental health.
It is essential that young people suffering with poor mental health are able to access the support they need.
There are some great resources available on the stem4 (supporting teenage mental health) website and with it being Youth Mental Health Day, why not take the time to read some of these resources and learn how you can better support the young people around you?
Young people are also able to access support through the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), with teams of mental health professionals who can assess and treat individuals with mental health difficulties.
We are proud to be able to work alongside the NHS and provide patient transport services for young people being treated under CAMHS.
We work with and support a broad section of mental health patients, assisting with numerous types of journeys and providing a safe environment for travel, enabling patients to journey to and access the support services they require.
